Local Community

Our stores are at the heart of the communities they serve and we encourage and support colleagues to build relationships within these communities. This means the store manager can pursue local community objectives within our corporate guidelines. We want all our stores to be places where community relationships are encouraged and valued. 

Sport Activities
We have been the sole retail sponsor of the Cyprus Anti-Leukemia Association, and Association of "The Day of Child", donating major funds every year since 2008. Money raised from our Annual 5-a-side Football Tournament with our suppliers goes towards supporting some of the kids with real financial needs and the leukemia patients in Cyprus. 

Giving back
At So Easy Stores, we take pride in being the neighborhood grocery store for thousand customers. We believe this important role carries with it a responsibility to become involved and to help build better, stronger communities. Much of that work is performed by generous charitable contributions.

United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Awareness Program
Over the past three years, we have raised several thousands of euros promoting the UNICEF programs.

Disaster Assistance
During 2007 we donated almost EUR 5,000 in products and in-kind assistance to support communities struck by the devastating fires in the Troodos Mountains. In recent years we have provided more cash to support water shortage in emergency relief efforts in Palodia village.

Education & Donations to local schools
Last year we contributed EU 2000 for educational purposes through our reward program. Since teaming up with parents’ organizations and associations, we have donated to local schools and youth groups throughout our operating areas.

Sports
As part of our ongoing commitment to education, we sponsor a broad range of after-school and physical education activities.
