Key Facts

 

·       2001: So Easy Stores opens the first convenience store in Limassol, Cyprus.

So Easy Stores is the first convenience store to offer freshly baked bakery products.   

 

·       2002: So Easy Stores expands in Paralimni and Larnaca districts ending up with 10 outlets nationally by the end of the year.

 

·       2003: So Easy Stores launches a new type of stores named "Snack Express", mainly located in Industrial Estate Areas. The outlet offers a variety of snacks, take- away meals and ready to eat food at fair prices.   

 

·       2004: The "Bakery Express" concept idea is introduced to the majority of the So Easy Stores.

 

·       2005: So Easy Stores acquires the first grocery store in Episkopi area, Limassol. In addition, the chain opens two stores in Nicosia district ending up with 16 outlets by the end of year.

 

·      2006: So Easy Stores introduces the Category Management Science (CMS); this has been part of its business development strategy.

 

·      2007: So Easy launches its channel-specific promotional programme. The promotional leaflet is an innovation for the convenience retailing industry in Cyprus and since then it takes place on a regular basis.

 

·      2007: The chain opens its first store in Paphos district.

 

·      2007: So Easy Stores in association with Divine Advertising, an advertising agency based in Limassol, successfully organises the first Chino Festival in Cyprus. This is a film prodcasting festival next to the sea at three different cities in Cyprus.  

 

·      2007: So Easy Stores supports with consumer products and in-kind assistance the communities struck by the devastating fires in the Troodos Mountains.

 

·      2007: So Easy Stores acquires G.P.C Unimarket Ltd, a convenience chain company with 4 outlets in Nicosia and Limassol ending up with 30 outlets by 
the end of year.

 

·      2008: So Easy Stores supports water shortage in emergency relief efforts in Palodia village, Limassol.

 

·      2008: So Easy Stores organises the first 5-a-side football tournament with its trade associates & suppliers, donating all participation fee revenue to a local Kids Support Fund.

 

·      2008: So Easy Stores airs the first television advertising. This is the first TV commercial ever run by a convenience store or chain in Cyprus.

 

·      2009: The chain enjoys record sales ever achieved in a single day. (1/1/2009)

·       2009: So Easy starts its colaboration with PNS Restaurants (A catering and 
     restaurants management company in Cyprus) to operate the ready-to-eat 
     food and snacks business at the Agios Athanasios Industrial Estate Area outlet. 
     The new alliance seeks to upgrade ready-to-eat, and food to go concept idea 
     for the chain customers.

2009: So Easy opens a new store at the My Mall, Limassol. The new shopping 
     and entertainment Mall is a promising alternative and a unique attraction for all 
     Cyprus.

·         2010: So Easy Stores acquires the 2 "Gallop" outlets in Nicosia. The   
     convenience outlets at Ifigenias street and Leoforos Larnakos street, hold key  
     locations and will support further the strategic business deveopment plan of the 
     company. 

·         2010: So Easy Stores becomes the Official Supporter of the Cyprus Anti-
     Leukemia Society.  

·         2010: So Easy Stores presents major summer music concerts all over Cyprus.

·         2010: So Easy Stores operates its new distribution centre in Limassol. The new  
     premises are fully owned adding major asset value to the company. The new 
     centre is more than 4,500 sq.m area and currently concentrates major exclusive 
     imported goods for the chain.
